Another Chapter

We started Middlerock, LLC in the summer of 2016 to formalize my advising practice. We had no idea where we were going exactly, but companies needed help and we loved helping them. It was several of us all working independently, referring each other to the best possible client need. It was fun!

Through that work, we took on OAC Services as a client and over time, they needed more and more of three of the four of us, and then last September, 2018, they named me COO. We accomplished a lot in a very short time. From original engagement to December of this year, the company grew by about 100 people. Revenues about tripled.

I’ve recently made the decision to return back to advising as of January 1, 2020, and refocus our attention based on what we learned since 2016. Middlerock will get an updated page, the 70-hour non-stop weeks will end, and we’ll continue to do what we do best, listen and advise based on where companies want to go.

I’ll come back and write more here, however I’m having a lot of fun answering questions on Quora, where I’ve answered over 650 questions to over 2 million readers, and appeared in the Quora Digest over 270 times to over 11.6 million readers.
